Mission & Vision
Indiana's newest 501c3 benefiting patients with ALS.
Purpose:
Stronger Together Against ALS is a nonprofit organization organized exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific, or religious purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The purpose of the Organization is to help people and their families navigate their lives with ALS after diagnosis.
Mission Statement:
We are dedicated to helping patients and families in Indiana LIVE with ALS.
Vision Statement:
Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by ALS through grants, innovative technologies, and relentless advocacy. We are dedicated to providing accessible solutions and guidance, smart home technology, training, transportation, and in-home caregivers, while empowering the ALS community with resources, education, and hope.
About Us
Tim Werner, PALS - President
Stephanie Werner, CALS - Founder/CEO
We are Tim and Stephanie Werner. Tim has been living with ALS since 2018. Ever since Tim was diagnosed we've been searching for hope, a light in this darkness. With so little to turn to and discover; we have decided to establish our own 501c3 - Stronger Together Against ALS Foundation. We are grass roots and built from the ground up. Our hearts are on fire and we are so ready to help others navigate the devastation of this disease. We hope you will join us in being “hope givers” to those in Indiana who are also figuring out how to LIVE with ALS.

Tim Werner - Founder & President
Tim has been living with ALS for 7 ½ years.
Damir Husejnovic - Vice President
Damir is a Veteran, husband, parent of 2, business owner, and strong advocate for those living with ALS.
Cindy Mills - Secretary
Cindy is a mother to 3, hard working, organized, has a family member battling muscular dystrophy and is a devoted ALS advocate.
Kamal Kaur - Treasurer
Kamal is a huge advocate for those living with ALS. Kamal’s mother courageously battled ALS for just under a year.
Samantha Dailey - Member
Samantha is a devoted caregiver to those living with ALS and many others. Samantha is an avid advocate for those living with ALS.
Stephanie Werner - CEO & Founder
Stephanie is the wife and caregiver for Tim.
